Last Week I was brought in by a very good friend to get my hair done as a birthday present.. Tatiana was a true professional with care for detail as soon as we walked in through the door.

A week ago I had extensions fitted with a woman who did her extensions from her home. I knew I might be compromising quality for price but decided to go ahead anyways as the woman was initially quite pleasant so I convinced myself that I wasn’t. What a mistake. After she was done I knew something was wrong. The rings we so tight causing a lot of pain. After a few washes the shinny hair turned into a nightmare. It is tangled to the point where I cannot brush it without pain or hair falling out. I have several small bald patches as a result which will take months to re-grow. I look terrible and I am truly embarrassed to walk out the door. When I approached the woman to have this fixed she turned nasty. She refused to take my calls and when she did threatened to call the police if I continue to call.
I approached Tatiana a few days ago by email, as I need an expert opinion on the quality of work/hair as I plan to take this woman to small claims court. After hearing my story she agreed to see me in the salon so she could take a look at my hair. Upon arrival I was welcomed in kind and friendly manner. She even offered me a drink, which may seem like nothing significant but it was as late afternoon on a Saturday with a very busy salon. She could have done many things different just to get rid of me as a non-customer. Instead Tatiana was nice, understanding and took some time to explain my options if I decide to treat the matter legally. When we were finished I offered to pay her for her time and she refused. This girl is a treasure.
I wrote this note as a thank you to Tatiana and as a warning for other girls. Please do not make my mistake. Use a professional. I am 29 and now have bald patches because I was careless, irresponsible and naive. Be careful girls and don’t compromise. Tatiana. Thanks for much for your warmth and hospitality. When my hair grows back and I am ready for extensions I will 100% percent be back to see you.

Hi Tatiana & team. I am so pleased with my extensions.I just want to reassure anyone considering extensions for the first time,book!!! I had mine done initially for my wedding & had them retightened this week. They are extremely easy to look after & in some ways easier than just my own hair. My hair feels very silky & my hairdresser said they are the best quality she has seen. I think i won't ever want to go back to my fine hair! Warm regards
I recently had a set of Russian Virgin Hair Extensions at the Kensington salon. I had cut my hair quite short six months before and was really upset by what I had done. Obviously to grow it back would take years...I went for a consultation and they were so nice, showing exactly how it would work and the hair samples and techniques they would use. I really didn't believe that it would look exactly the same as my hair had looked when it was long. 3 weeks later and I couldn't be happier. They are easy enough to manage, none have fallen out or tangled-perfect. Really happy
After extensive research I chose to have my first set of Russian virgin extensions done at the Kensington salon. There is no going back - they look so natural and have given me great confidence. I can see a great friendship forming betweeen me and the charming girls at the salon, not to mention her two sweet little chihuahuas! Thank you and no doubt see you again soon xo Ella
had my extensions done yesterday (12 aug 2010)at manchester, Karina was great at explaining the aftercare plus if need any advice can just ring or email. Have recommended to a few friends already!!!! Brillant - much nicer than the ones I had done in birmingham in January!!! See You soon Karina xx
I had my Russian Virgin extensions done last week at Manchester. Karina was lovely and the time went quickly! I did lots of research before choosing Tatiana's and I'm so pleased with the results. My hair is short and fine, but the extensions are blended perfectly - so don't worry if you have short/fine hair. No problem for aftercare - it is all clearly discussed and Karina will answer any questions. Thanks Karina and see you soon!
Just had me extensiosn re done at the Manchester Salon (went to London the 1st time) Lovely salon, gorgeous Chihuahuas and Tatiana was lovely. My hair feels amazing and I am sure it's even better than it was before if thats possible! I feel like me again and will definatley be back again. Its a 4 hour round trip for me to either salon so please take this as confirmation of how good the hair and service are, I glady make this trip. Thanks again Tatiana x
