Origin of Hair

London Source of HairDifferent grades of human hair are used within the hair extension industry with Chinese hair being the most popular used.  Chinese hair is the popular choice among many circles because it is often available in very large quantities at very cheap prices.

The problem with Chinese hair is that it is extremely coarse and thick.  Manufacturers, in an effort to give the hair a softer and finer texture, use aggressive acid treatments to strip the cuticle layer.  The chemical treatment completely destroys the cuticle layer and as a result leaves the hair brittle and dense.   In order to give the hair a healthy sheen, it is coloured and sealed with a silicone layer.  At first, the hair is shiny and beautiful but after a few washes the silicon layer starts fades away leaving the hair with a dull and matted look.

The Essence of Tatiana Hair Extensions

Tatiana Hair Extensions never uses Chinese hair for that very reason.  We only use the finest quality European, Russian and Remy virgin hair.   Our human hair extensions have their cuticles preserved and they are hand-processed to make sure each cuticle is facing the same direction. This prevents the hair from tangling or matting.

We use virgin hair that’s never been chemically treated, tinted, permed or coloured.  Unlike Chinese hair, our extension hair products can be matched perfectly to your own hair with respect to texture, curl and colour.  The extension hair can be blow-dried, flat ironed straight, curled, highlighted and coloured to create any look you want yet still behave exactly like your natural looking hair.
